At Tiger Tops, we have been paving the way for sustainable high-end tourism in the Himalayan land of Nepal since the early sixties. Across this extraordinary country we have pioneered river rafting, established trekking routes and created jungle experiences, connect people to experiential travel. Everyday we are continuing on a journey of discovery and improvement, focusing on our environmentally responsible heritage and working hard to ensure all operations represent the very best in sustainable eco-tourism. We want to share this journey with you.

The Lanjia, or ‘peaceful’ in Hmong language, is an eco-friendly community-based lodge nestled high on a hill in Chiang Rai Province, northern Thailand. It offers hill tribe holidays that combine hill tribe experience with eco-friendly tours such as hiking, tree planting and Hmong batik class.

Lisu Lodge offers hill tribe holidays that include cultural and adventure experiences in Chiang Mai Province, northern Thailand. Named after the Lisu hill tribe village that is found near the lodge, the lodge is also part of a community-based project that aims to conserve the natural heritage of the hill tribes in Chiang Mai. The Lisu migrated from southern China and Tibet in the early 20th century.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge sets the standards for responsible tourism in the middle hills of Nepal. Set in 7 acres of natural gardens and woodland, rich in birds, butterflies, small mammals, and the occasional leopard, we focus on “The Essence of Tranquillity” at the gateway to the Himalaya, having a magnificent Himalayan panorama of three 8,000m peaks – Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu spread before our terrace. Our mission is to give every guest a special experience of Nepal’s middle hills though skilled local guides, authentic Nepali food, and living in the shadow of the Himalaya. With just 18 rooms in individual stone bungalows in local architectural style, we are the ideal base for guests who want a rural locale, while being able to get access to Pokhara city for its lakeside attractions and adventure sports.

We have an exciting range of walks from an hour to full day hikes, all led by expert local guides, for those who enjoy hiking but do not wish to trek in the classical Himalayan manner. A range of yoga, meditation and massage therapies are available. Operating more like a private home, our friendly, discreet staff have been with the lodge since its opening in 1998 by Sir Edmund Hillary and are adept in making every guest feel personally welcome and relaxed. We are independently audited for our responsible conservation tourism programmes and practices.
